Sustran's Connect2

In June 2005 the Big Lottery Fund (BIG) and ITV announced a competition to find the winner of a £50 million National Lottery grant. The search was on for a groundbreaking project that would inspire communities to revitalise the areas where they live.
Connect2 is a UK-wide project that aims to improve local travel in 79 communities by creating new walking and cycling routes for those everyday journeys.

Connect2 is competing against 3 other competitors for the £50million. There will only be one winner though. The winner will be decided by a national vote, either by online or by telephone.
